International Social-Emotional Learning for Youth
At Heart SEL Education, learning comes from the HEART! Our comprehensive collection of SEL (social emotional learning) curriculum helps youth of all ages become more emotionally resilient, empathetic, responsible and supported as they experience the inevitable emotional up's and down's in life!
When surveyed, 96% of administrators, 93% teachers, and 81% of parents believed that social-emotional learning is just as important as academic learning. As a result of participating in the H.E.A.R.T. SEL program, schools can create a more empathetic, responsible and emotionally resilient generation of youth while effectively reducing bullying and creating a culture of safety, health and wellness at the school and beyond. |

Each student receives their own physical workbook to keep for future reference.

The curriculum begins with a 10 minute educational video that introduces the five H.E.A.R.T. values. The intro video is narrated by an adult host and two teenagers for relatability. The program also includes short motivational videos that address a variety of relevant topics like self-esteem and social media.

We use CASEL’s five core social emotional learning competencies throughout our H.E.A.R.T. curriculum. In fact, our workbook chapters are designed to seamlessly segway from one competency to the next, creating a natural flow to learning and apply social and emotional skills.

The H.E.A.R.T. Program centers around the aspect of self care and care of others. Our students have loved and embracingly absorbed, what is, the first curriculum dealing with concepts of humanity, empathy, advocacy, responsibility and toughness in Nepal. At times of COVID-19 crisis, our students are with their families and building trust, taking responsibility and caring for each other is an opportunity amid this tragic chaos."
