2) Goal Setting and Persistence:
Self-management includes setting goals and working towards them with determination and persistence. Students can demonstrate self-management by setting both short-term and long-term goals related to their academics, personal growth, or extracurricular activities. They can break down their goals into smaller, achievable steps and create action plans to track their progress. By consistently working towards their goals and demonstrating perseverance even in the face of challenges, students showcase self-management skills.
3) Impulse Control and Self-Regulation:
